Marketing Codewords are only available on some plans. Contact Support@claralabs.com with any questions.
Marketing Codewords are similar to Standard Codewords in that a word or phrase is used to trigger a particular Clara action. Marketing Codewords are most likely to be used by Entrepreneurs, Small Business Owners, or internal company teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales, or other Demand Generating teams) to improve meeting setup rates from outbound campaigns.
Marketing Codewords are setup at the user level, so each user would need to establish a Marketing Codeword if multiple people on a team used Clara and the whole team wanted to use the Marketing Codeword. There is no current limit to the number of Marketing Codewords that you can have.
Trigger: Clara will look for the exact (case-insensitive) usage of a given codeword, so you should choose a unique word (at least 5 characters) or a unique 2-word phrase that you can easily remember and won't accidentally show up in your other messages. Participant emails will not trigger a codeword.
- Triggers must only contain recognized English words
- Triggers cannot contain numbers, emojis, or symbols (@#$%^&*-.)
- Triggers cannot be your name, email address, or words that appear in your email signature
- Triggers cannot redefine a term (e.g., “30 minutes” in an email = “25 minute meeting” is not allowed)
Action: Clara will not immediately followup to get the meeting setup. Only once a participant responds to the request for a meeting, and agrees to work towards getting a meeting scheduled will Clara become active.
There is no current limit to the number of messages that you can CC Clara on, and only once Clara becomes active does the message count towards your monthly meeting request limits. Automated replies (e.g. out of office, bouncebacks) or replies where the participant does not want to take action (e.g. they confirm they do not want to meet) will not count towards monthly meeting request limits.
If you would like to suggest a Marketing Codeword be setup, message Clara with your Trigger. Our internal team will review for supportability and get back to you quickly with suggested updates or confirmation that the Marketing Codeword has been set. We will then perform a small-scale test to ensure the Marketing Codeword is properly setup in both our systems before large-scale campaigns can be launched.
If you are looking for more functionality than Marketing Codewords, check out Standard Codewords.
